Karnak the Temple of Light in ancient Thebes lies on the eastern bank of the Nile - Karnak Playhouse - an amphitheatre lies on the edge of the Daintree National Park - It is an inspirational concept of theatre as a complete experience. . . to be in the untouched rainforest and yet be witness to the best performances in the world!
This is the dream of Karnak the playhouse!

The amphitheatre seats 500 people, and is now open to the public every day from 10am until 4pm for morning and afternoon tea and light lunches. The Karnak Cafe & Gallery's menu includes exotic tropical produce grown organically on site. A  long red cedar Bar, backed by huge stained-glass windows, is licensed to serve alcohol from midday til midnight.
